Along our road #3
Barn swallows on a power line

These are normally the orange pictured; but some interesting lighter ones were growing among them.

This Week's Tablesetting
I decided to dedicate a separate post to this week's tablesetting. I borrowed a tray from Sasha and decorated it with vintage leather gloves, vintage and antique postcards, and dried rose petals. I only paid a dollar for a couple of roses the other day. One of them is the one in the vase.

Hanging out with the Boys
Shaina and I visited and went for a walk with a couple of our cousins from across the road.

Shaina and Jacob

This bird sounded like a red-wing blackbird.

corn and red clover

This part of Iowa is so beautiful.

James (we're both 18).

Juggling rocks from our driveway--I wouldn't mind being able to do that. :)

Jacob is 15 and somewhere in the region of 6 feet tall. James is 6'1''.
I'm not sure how long we've been taking walks with the boys. It's kind-of a nice pastime. :)
