Jasper's Birthday

Jasper's 2nd birthday was on Saint Patrick's Day. I made a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and toasted pecans in his honor. My sister, Shaina, was kind enough to grate the carrots for me. :)

Hello Ariana! Let's be friends.

My mother, sister Shaina (pictured holding Ariana), and I went to see our friend Rachel's new baby in the hospital! Alex (pictured below) was visiting too.



Her full name is Ariana Lelde Elizabeth. :) She is so sweet!

Ethiopia: Meal #32

The savory dishes in this meal were based off of recipes from www.food.com/recipes/ethiopian ("Ethiopian-style Lentils With Yams") and Dabo Kolo from www.africa.upenn.edu/Cookbook/Ethiopia.html



For the fruit salad I just tried to use fuits that they would/might eat in Ethiopia. (I'm not an expert. :) I used grapes, mandarin oranges, and grapefruit slices. It was tasty anyway. :)

Valentine's Day

My mummy gave me chocolates for Valentine's Day. :) From the ones I've tried they are delicious!
