I walked and walked, and everywhere I looked there they didn’t seem to be. Finally I came across yellow Johnny Jump Ups, or violets, and felt blessed and grateful, even though they weren’t what I was looking for. If I’ve ever seen the yellow ones it’s been years. I’ve never seen white. Those are the least common.
Then I looked over and lo-and-behold there they were!
Dutchman’s Breeches(also called touch-me-not)
After that I saw a lot of them…
And even some Toothwort(also known as milkmaids, Pepper root etc.).
